West Side Market

Here are some sketches from this past Saturday. I got to see my good friend and teacher Bob Moyer. I'd be nowhere with my watercolors if it wasn't for his help.

I'm going to be at the Berea Arts Fest this Saturday May 19th, from noon to 4pm. in front of Mike's Bar and Grill on Front St. next to The Shoppe.  I'll have a lot of Berea and Cleveland related artwork for sale (some inexpensive!) so stop on by. I'll also be painting, so if you want to check out the process please come by and watch.

W. 25th Street

I did these Saturday morning. What a great weekend we just had weather wise. It was still chilly, so I did these from inside the car. W. 25th St. is looking gorgeous these days.

St. Joseph Vineyard

I'll be demoing at St. Joseph Vineyard's Pinot Vista Tasting Room the next two Saturdays. It's at 7800 Warner Rd. in Madison. This is a painting I created last Saturday.

Come on down and enjoy some of their ice wine that they're offering along with a bunch of other wineries in the region. There's also a maple syrup vendor from Mantua, Ohio. They tap the village trees for their syrup!

Recent Vacation

Took a recent trip to visit my friends Nicholas and Juliette and their new(ish) baby. He was wonderful! Did some other sketching as well.

Billy

Billy did an incredible job posing for us! He had an incredible face, with lots of wrinkles. You can't include them all or it gets really distracting.

The Minister of Culture

Michael posed this past Friday and did a great job. He said that his father, Chuck Heaton, worked at the Plain Dealer for 51 years!
