A watercolor blog. Back runs are the "blossom" or "flower" produced when part of a wash is too wet and the pigment is lifted up and forced to gather at the leading edge of wetness. Some people try to avoid them at all costs. I happen to like 'em.

Jeff: Your artwork is beautiful. I'm so sorry we missed you at the sketch crawl on Saturday. Someone put up a sign at the Downtown Cleveland Alliance HQ in the arcade, but it might have been hard to see. There's another sketch crawl on Saturday Dec. 1 and I hope you are there. Meanwhile, I'm having a great time admiring your work.
Thanks Karen, I hope to go to the next one on December 1st. If I do, I will probably see you there.
