Michael posed this past Friday and did a great job. He said that his father, Chuck Heaton, worked at the Plain Dealer for 51 years!
A watercolor blog. Back runs are the "blossom" or "flower" produced when part of a wash is too wet and the pigment is lifted up and forced to gather at the leading edge of wetness. Some people try to avoid them at all costs. I happen to like 'em.

As always - excellent work. You did a great job with the planes, and I also like the lost/found edges, especially where the ear connects to the jaw area.
Thanks Josh.
